Detox drinks that are easy to make and will cleanse your most vital organs

The human body absorbs many toxins from air pollution, water, food, drugs, and stress. You can only eat papaya straight from the tree if you live in a remote area away from stressors and industrial plants. You’re good to go. For the rest of us – especially those who live in big cities – it’s worth considering removing toxins and other impurities regularly from our bodies.

It is healthy to cleanse your body regularly with detox drinks that you can prepare at home.

To get you started, here are some DIY recipes (do-it-yourself) detoxification beverages:

Liver

The liver is an important organ that plays a role in many vital body processes: it filters the blood, neutralizes harmful chemicals and toxins, synthesizes hormonal substances, and converts food into energy. It is also essential for digestion and the proper functioning of your immune system.

This is an example of an easy-to-cook cleansing smoothie to maintain a healthy liver.

  • One medium-sized beetroot
  • One small tangerine
  • Half an apple
  • Fresh or frozen strawberries
  • One glass of water

Mix all ingredients.

Beetroot is known for its cleansing properties and multiple benefits. It can reduce inflammation. It is also considered the best food for a healthy, functioning liver. If you don’t like it, add other superfoods that are good for your liver, such as carrots, cabbage, oranges, sesame, olive oil, and sesame seeds. Other foods include celery, berries, asparagus, broccoli, and green tea.

Lungs

The lungs act as a portal for oxygen to enter our blood and, from there, to all our organs. In a nutshell, this is the way we breathe and live. It is essential to keep the lungs healthy. Even non-smokers are not immune to lung disease. Like any other organ, the lungs respond to stress by absorbing toxins.

There is a way to cleanse your lungs.

  • Breakfast with freshly squeezed orange or grapefruit juice
  • With lunch, drink a smoothie of carrots, celery, and spinach mixed with parsley, kelp, and parsley.
  • Before dinner, try a detox tea with rosehips, ginger, and mint.
  • Last but not least, enjoy a glass or two of pure cranberry juice pressed before you go to sleep.

Repeat this combination three days in a row.

Also great for your lungs are: pineapple, pineapple juice, carrots, rosehips, onions, garlic, beetroots, broccoli, olive oils, kelp, and hawthorn.

Kidneys

These two funny-looking organs in the shape of beans may not look like much because they’re small. They’ve earned their spot on par with other vital organs because they are super-industrious. They filter toxins from the blood to protect it against infection.

This healthy and delicious smoothie will help you repay your favor and prevent kidney stone formation.

  • The cupful of cranberries
  • Celery stalk
  • One apple
  • Pear
  • One cucumber
  • Spinach in a handful

Mix all ingredients and enjoy!

You can also boost your kidney health by eating radish carrots, lemons, parsley, blueberries, chia seed, asparagus, and other superfoods.

Colon

The colon is where we expel all the toxins accumulated during the day. It helps flush them out of the body. When we neglect the colon, toxins can get trapped inside, causing gas, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, and other symptoms. Chronic conditions may result.

We need hydration and nutrients for our colon to function as it should. This smoothie is the perfect combination of nutrients and hydration.

  • Ground flaxseed, 1 tbsp
  • Half of a ripe, sour pineapple
  • One cup of water
  • One cucumber
  • One apple
  • One grapefruit
  • Celery stalk

Stir the ingredients and enjoy!

Cucumbers, pineapple, celery, and grapefruit are also great for your colon.

It is not necessary to drastically alter your diet during a cleanse. To enhance the cleansing effect, reducing inflammatory foods like fried foods, sugary and fatty foods is best. It would help to prepare yourself for some weight loss during the cleanse period.
