5-Ingredient No-Bake Peanut Butter Thumbprints

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • One teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/3 cup fruit preserves or jam (such as raspberry or strawberry)

Instructions:

Combine Peanut Butter, Sugar, and Vanilla:

In a mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.

Add Oats:

Add the old-fashioned oats to the peanut butter mixture. Stir until the oats are evenly incorporated into the mix.

Shape into Balls:

Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls, each about the size of a walnut. Place the balls on a parchment-lined tray or plate.

Make Thumbprints:

Use your thumb or the back of a small spoon to make an indentation in the center of each peanut butter ball. Press down gently to create a well for the filling.

Fill with Jam:

Spoon a small amount of fruit preserves or jam into each thumbprint, filling the center of each cookie.

Chill:

Place the tray or plate in the refrigerator to chill the cookies for at least 30 minutes. This helps them set and firm up.

Serve:

Once the cookies are chilled and set, they are ready to be served. Enjoy these no-bake peanut butter thumbprints as a quick and tasty treat.

These no-bake peanut butter thumbprints are great for a simple dessert or snack, and you can easily customize them with your favorite fruit preserves or jam. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator to keep them firm. Feel free to experiment with variations, such as adding chopped nuts or chocolate chips to the peanut butter mixture for added texture and flavor.
